December 2015

Weirdest Experience: Shannon was in the bath while Brittany and Leah investigated the hotel. When we came back, the door to our room would not open. We knocked and shoulder-checked the door but nothing worked. When we finally got the door to open, the TV in the room was blasting, and Shannon was still relaxing in the tub. She claims she never heard us trying to open the door, or the TV, and cannot remember how long she was in the bath!

We also had the opportunity to investigate the carriage house next door to the hotel. During this investigation, we received direct communication from a spirit using a flashlight!

December 2018

Weirdest Experience: Shannon, Brittany, and Leah were investigating the most haunted floor that the hotel claimed was closed. They told us no one could stay on that floor due to construction. But when we got to the floor, there was no sign of any work being done. When passing one of the rooms, we heard a woman on the phone describing bones she had found. We couldn't make out where she said she found them. But we could have sworn she mentioned something about the laundry or linens! There was also a light that kept turning off and on in one of the hallways, that we could see from our room, but could not find.

June 2019

Weirdest Experience: While Leah captured a pretty creepy picture when we first pulled into the parking lot, our weirdest experience happened just before leaving. The entire team was saying our goodbyes to the Detroit Paranormal Expeditions group when we heard another woman talking and laughing in the stairwell. We were the only females in the building and everyone was accounted for. We all heard it but unfortunately, no one was recording. 

October 2019

Weirdest Experience: While standing in front of the Men's bathroom Leah snapped a few photos of Carly. She had mentioned a tingling feeling in her hand and the K2 meter kept spiking. After looking at the photos we noticed there was a black orb blocking out part of the picture. We tried to recreate the picture but were unsuccessful.

October 2020

Weirdest Experience: After a few hours of investigating the entire team decided to head to base camp for a quick bathroom break. Brittany was standing in the bathroom when she noticed the light in one of the adjacent rooms turned on. We all went into the room and the light then turned off. We tried communicating with whoever was trying to get our attention, but no one came through.

May 2021

Weirdest Experience: In the hospital portion of the reformatory, we started an Estes method session with Shannon under. Brittany, Carly, and Leah were asking questions and got some amazing responses. Specifically, when another family entered the room, Shannon started to say "light" and "hide." Our conversation with this spirit lasted about 3 minutes but unfortunately, we cannot find the recording anywhere. Carly was also asked to stand in the shower area of the attic space by the Ghost Brothers. They played a Johnny Cash song and right after it ended she felt someone breathing next to her. Then her EMF reader started to go off and someone pulled her hair.

October 2021

Weirdest Experience: This place was fairly quiet. The only odd things that occurred happened in front of Robert. We attempted a spirit box session, but our brand new batteries in our SB-7 Spirit Box died within a minute of turning it on. At the end of the investigation, our team attempted some automatic writing by sitting in a circle around Robert. While everyone was silent with their eyes closed Brittany's backpack, which only had a few items of clothing inside, SLAMMED to the ground. It was not just the bag falling over as we tried to debunk it by pushing it over several times. But it only made that noise when we picked it up and dropped it to the floor.  

August 2022

Weirdest Experience: Overall, the hotel itself was pretty comfortable and we really didn't have too many experiences.  Due to the combined feelings we were getting in the sauna we decided to conduct an Estes Method to see if we could make contact.  During this session, there was a male that would come through and make himself known.  There was also a female that would make attempts to communicate, but each time she would try the male cut her off and would attempt to block her.  Shannon believed to hear a  third spirit or "voice" that came through and kept saying "train tracks". We did some research but did not find anything that might link this to the hotel.  However, there are train tracks down the road.

September 2022

Weirdest Experience: The Lafayette is a beautiful hotel in a very nice area.  We decided to stay here on our visit to the Anchorage Mansion due to reports of spirits roaming the halls on the third floor.  During our investigations, we did not get any evidence of paranormal existence.  The only unexplainable thing that happened was the bathroom door opening on its own while Brittany was in it. No explanation for this could be found and it only happened once.  We conducted an EVP session in one of the basement rooms but did not catch anything on either the recorder or video.  Maybe next time!

September 2022

Weirdest Experience: The Mound Cemetery was beautiful.  Immediately on arrival, you can feel the energy around you. We climbed to the top to check out the surroundings.  Even though it was during the day and there was a lot of background noise around us, we decided to try and do an EVP session.  While Brittany was asking questions, Leah had the headphones on listening for any unusual sounds.  We believe we may have caught someone calling out.  The yell does not fit in with the background sounds and there was no one else around at the time.  Unfortunately, you are not allowed in after dark, so no additional investigating could be done at night when it was quiet.  

September 2022

Weirdest Experience: While we didn't have any paranormal events happen for us here, the house itself is stunning and very comfortable. We tried all night to get any of the spirits to interact with us, but it was quiet that evening. Our host was fantastic and very knowledgeable. She gave us a grand tour and educated us on the history of the home as well as information on those that still roam the halls. Our host did mention that the night before the house was very active, so perhaps they needed some rest!  We plan to return to Marietta to investigate Blennerhasset Island next!

December 2022

Weirdest Experience: Armed with a brand new camera, we set out to investigate the Stimson Hospital for a second time. Since we caught two orbs on video during our first investigation here, we decided to see what else would show up on video. This time with the camera set up in the Birthing Room, we were able to capture something blocking the nightlight on the staircase. It moves slowly, fading in, staying for a few seconds, and then fading out. We were excited to investigate the basement this time around. However, the spirits decided they did not want to communicate with us there. 

June 2023

Weirdest Experience: Toward the end of our investigation, all 5 of us were in the Chapel conducting an Estes method session. During the session, a door within the Chapel was forcibly closed and opened repeatedly. The team attempted to debunk the noise by recreating it with any of the doors in the Chapel, but couldn't. We are unsure if this was the malevolent spirit that resides in the Chapel or another prankster spirit.

May 2024

Weirdest Experience: Bihl Manor did not disappoint. We each had our own experiences. 

Leah: Possibly scratched/burned in the basement.

Carly: Saw the Boo Buddy be pulled from the doorway.

Brittany: Had something loudly shake the butler's pantry cabinet behind her.

Shannon: Saw a man while scrying in the bedroom mirror.

Heather: Had a picture frame lift off the wall, come toward her, and fall to the floor.

September 2024

Weirdest Experience: While in the basement, as a group, we heard the loudest scraping/scratching/dragging noise coming from up the stairs. We heard this noise twice while visiting TCH and could not figure out where it was coming from. Each time it made all of our hair stand on end.

Weirdest Experience: Everyone was able to experience the Rem Pod going off during a short investigation. During the night Brittany was able to hear the Ovilus produce words that correlated to what she was doing. While Leah saw a dark shadow move across the bedroom. They both heard footsteps walking up and down the hallway to the bedrooms.

January 2025

Weirdest Experience: While investigating in the basement Carly and Leah saw a blue orb move through the basement and disappear. Brittany was able to experience some tapping/knocking sounds while doing a solo investigation in the attic. Shannon received communication through the cat ball!

June 2025

Weirdest Experience: Harriman Hospital was extremely quiet the night of our investigation. In the shadow hallway Carly, Heather, and Leah heard a huge bang. However, they were unable to find the source of the noise.

Weirdest Experience: The beginning of this investigation started off with a *ding* as we were assigned rooms by the spirits.
